HEALTH PROJECTS
WOCWI is the Initiator, co-sponsor and Coordinator of Kiddies-Sight Saving Endowment Fund (KIDSEF) in honour of former Children Parliamentarians- free eye treatment and surgery for indigent children.
Result: not less than 33 eye surgeries @ N25,000.00 per eye have been sponsored; with an on going plastic surgery of an 8 year old girl (Nafisat Iyanda from Okelele, Ilorin) at the University of Ilorin, Teaching Hospital.
Also, in 2009, WOCWI in collaboration with Ophthalmic Nurses in Kwara State organized and co-sponsored free eye test, treatment, eye glasses and surgery in Ilorin South LGA, about 647 people benefited.
WOCWI is engaged in sensitization on prevention and treatment of HIV/AIDS in Lafiagi and donation of medical items to General Hospital, Lafiagi, EDU Local government Area of Kwara State.
