WOCWI is the initiator, co-sponsor and coordinator of the Great Kwara Spelling Bee Competition, aimed at enhancing written and spoken English among Secondary School students in Kwara State.s
Data shows that in 2010 30% of students from public schools emerged among the finalist, in 2012, it increased to 45%. Also, in 2012, Winner of the Competition- Anuoluwa Atteh led 3 student team Kwara for national competition and emerged winner with 18 seaters bus prize for Kwara State!
